This sweet little one had grown so much I almost didn’t recognize her!
I love this client- I have done her beautiful curls for a LONG time. She is loving her hair length but really needed a refresh on her layers. She came in with no product in her hair and it was really easy for me to see the crown area needed help

We catch up once a year
Shorten the length because for this busy mom it was just too long

has been coming to me for years. She has the most beautiful curls. The sad thing is is if we were to cut her hair, wet like straight hair, her hair would be so unbalanced.
Curls have a way of dropping when they get long - it’s ok…it’s normal. For curls it’s normal

Please do not ask for a trim if your the last 5 inches of your hair is split. 🙏🏻
When you have long thick hair- it’s going to be really hard to have lift at the roots. You are not doing anything wrong- taking the hair shorter with layers is going to help
