2026 :: The Year of Care

ABP :: Installment 2  (swipe to read)  A letter, a musing, an untangelling of thoughts?  Even with visible mistakes!  The perfectionist in me would like that fixed up but it defeats the purpose.

FULL-BODY LYMPHATIC MASSAGE :: THE JOURNEY, THE EXPERIENCE What if I told you I almost never became a care provider because I couldn’t see myself doing body work.  Years ago the lymphatic massage is what started my journey into care while studying aromatherapy.  I hadn’t even heard of it before, it wasn’t a trend or well-known offering yet. 

Like any education or training I’ve done, I felt out of my depth. But am I ever glad I took the leap of faith and pushed beyond my comfort zone.  It’s genuinely a favorite service offering of mine and some of you may not know it’s even available!

Smooth rhythmic movements in a light-medium pressure helps to activate a parasympathetic response of rest + digest.  Cortisol levels can decrease, a state of calm may wash over you as endorphins release.  You can let go.

We all hold things in our body; emotions, stress. Life can be a lot and we’re just trying to get through it some days (weeks or months).  When we move stagnant fluids, those emotions we hold onto so tightly may feel resistance start to release.  Almost like a permission slip and assurance that you don’t have to carry it all.  Both the physical lymph movement and nervous system relaxation are why one might feel lighter or that a weight has been lifted after a session.

You may have heard about the anti-inflammatory, immune, digestive or circulatory benefits of lymphatic massage but combined with the nervous system it makes for a beautifully unique and potent experience.  Available as a stand alone service or together with a facial, it's an honour to be able to share it with you.

It's not lost on me the contradictory nature of posting on social media while talking about analog. The purpose of this project isn't intended to be anti-technology but about connection and meaning within our world (where technology does exist) and how we can be intentional.
