Today was my last day . I have learned so much about myself during my time there, mainly that my passion lies in energy work.

I love helping others to see their own magic through Reiki healing...this is MY gift to the world. I recently received my Reiki Master Certificate and am so excited to continue my Reiki and hairstyling journey with the beautiful and talented team . As some of you already know, I have worked at Lavish previously, but the universe has some wild ways so I listened to my intuition, followed the signs and am beyond excited to rejoin this incredible team! There are so many benefits to choosing a distance Reiki session in my experience as a practitioner.

For me personally, I find that I feel even more energy and can locate blocks with much more ease because my focus is so much more intentional.

Working with clients by distance allows them to relax and be more open to receive the healing. It truly is remarkable to witness.

Hey all my gorgeous girls who are wondering about going blonde! I have some advice and want you to know it is definitely possible to achieve the blonde of your dreams. It just takes some dedication, time and grit...hehehe.

As my good friend
can attest to, achieving the perfect blonde (especially after being a redhead😉) is absolutely no joke!

It takes a lot of time, patience, AND maintenance to keep those precious locks in amazing shape while going through a transformation like this.

My top tips for achieving blonde after being a brunette or a redhead are:

🌟 Book a thorough consultation so that you and your stylist are on the same page.

🌟 Be patient as it can take at least 3 sessions for you to achieve your desired results.

🌟 Listen to your stylist when she suggests conditioning and/or protein treatments for you to do at home in between lightening sessions...you want to make sure you are keeping your locks hydrated and in great condition.

🌟 Embrace and have fun with the shades that you achieve in between sessions! Having various shades of copper, strawberry blonde, and rich brunette are simply gorgeous.

Going blonde is definitely achievable and fun so let me know if you have any questions.

Hmmm, this a good one. I was sitting doing a nervous system regulation practice and this question came up in the session so I felt the need to share my answer.

As someone who has never felt seen by the world or felt like she never belonged, working with my body and tending to its needs makes me feel seen.

What I mean by this is that when I sit with myself when I'm not triggered and tend to my body by using different tools; like orienting to what's in my environment, safe and soothing body touch, moving my neck gently back and forth, massaging my jaw, among many others.

These practices create space in my body to listen, to open up and move energy so I can be creative, more peaceful, or even receive a new idea.

Body based tools are like magic when used daily, only 5-10 minutes at a time. Try any one of these daily for 2-3 weeks and you will notice a shift in your system.

I will be creating some videos with some practices for you to try for yourself for free so you too can begin to feel connected to your body and its needs.

This gorgeous human happened to land in my chair and I believe it was no accident. Don't get me wrong, she has been a client of the studio but the fact that I got to do her hair was incredible became we CONNECTED. That is what I'm here for.

What we did was blend those gorgeous greys she had already been rocking and darkened her ends which had been previously lightened. I wanted to create an all over colour that enhanced her already beautiful dark mane. The result, pure magic!
