It’s always an honour to do another stylists hair! @extensionsbykaylee.yxe and I used to work together but it’s been so long since we had a good catch up! We were too busy chatting to get more content 😋. I wanted to post the end result anyway because I’m OBSESSED. She’s getting a full head of @philocalyhair Ktips put in soon, so the goal today was an overall more even blonde, keeping it nice and warm/bright. A full head of classic highlights did the trick. Let’s start the week off with a fun colour 🌸 I’m so lucky to have a sister who loves to try new things!! She came in for a trim and on a whim we decided to put this fun pink overtop her highlights! I LOVE how it makes her blue eyes pop. This process took several hours but it was worth it!! We started with a colour grown out from 8 months ago. Just before this guests wedding, we gave her a beautiful copper/red, and it faded out to the golden copper you see at the start of the video! She wanted to go for something that would have a nicer grow out this time, so we decided to go in the direction of what her previous colour had faded too. First of all, a big rough chop so we didn’t waste any colour. Then I went in with a full head of weaves and slices, teasing some for a softer blend at the root. Then we finished up her cut and put the final colour over those highlights! One formula for her roots, and a different formula for her ends. Let me know what you think of these golden copper vibes!! Always so fun having in my chair hehe! Last time we did her hair, she was toying with the idea of going darker. Knowing she always goes back to blonde, we did a semi permanent lowlight (scroll down in my feed to see the results on that one!). They faded out really nicely allowing us to go right back to highlights 😊.

A little extension magic for your feed today! This client has never been able to grow her hair past her shoulders because of low density and fine texture. We chose k-tips to match that natural density and texture and we’re obsessed with the results!! We used 50 grams of the shade ‘bittersweet’ from @philocalyhair . For an extra natural finish I cut the Ktips in half (and into thirds for some areas), to keep them super lightweight and almost completely invisible. She’ll wear these for 3-4 months before she comes in to have them refreshed. I loooove how versatile keratin tips are! A full head of highlights and teasy lights for a seamless grow out on this bright blonde refresh! Toned with shades eq 9vg + 9v. The sun peaked out from the clouds while we took the second video, which is why it looks so much brighter than the others. Blondes can look completely different with different lighting!
