Hi friends! Long time no chat. I’m really missing my besties at and all my wonderful clients. I’m needing some help!

I am in my first year of nursing school, and as part of my classes I am placed at a community school in the city with the program Care & Share to teach children how to read through their advanced literacy program.

After being at a community school, my heart was heavy. So many kids come without warm clothes, without food, and basic school supplies.

The kids at this school are low on winter clothing, and so I’m reaching out for help from the community to get some clothing together to help prepare the students for the winter this year.

I have posted about this on various social media accounts for about a week, and so far I have one coat donation (which is great, but we’re really hoping for more to help out the school). The deadline will be extended, and If you have any gently used winter clothing items you’d be willing to part with, please let me know! I can come collect the items this weekend or through the next following weeks.

Just to recap since I’ve been away, I had the most amazing summer and I hope you did too! Here’s some photos to update you all. I got a dog, did lots of golfing, and tried to spend as much time outside as POSSIBLE.

I started nursing school at the end of august, and by now I was hoping on coming back to Capelli and working part time. However, nursing school is no joke, and it’s already kicking my butt 😅 I’m so sad to announce that as of right now I won’t be coming back to ):

In reality I am so excited to be a nurse and it has to be my priority right now. Even though it is tough and time consuming, I’m really happy. It feels right and I’m loving it, despite the stress.

However, I feel horribly sad to leave you all! I don’t feel ready yet, and to all of my clients who have been by my side, THANK YOU. I will never take for granted the messages, our chats, and my favourite, all the laughs we shared. You guys truly made me into who I am today and I am forever thankful. Please stay in touch! Bittersweet news 🥲

Hi everyone!! I just wanted to update everyone as I have a few big life changes coming up. In the fall, I have decided to go back to school for nursing and I couldn’t be more excited. My last full time day at Capelli is July 27.

However, don’t stress! I am hoping to keep doing hair part time for my regular clients while I’m in school. I’m not sure what my schedule will look like yet but check back here for updates (: i will be taking August off and will hopefully have time to be at the salon a couple nights a week! If my schedule doesn’t work for some, I would be happy to recommend my clients to a new stylist at Capelli!

Thank you to all of my clients, family, and friends who have supported me over the past 4 years. I have had so much fun and I’m so thankful for the team and the training i received, and working alongside people I love everyday 🥹

Bestie hair appointment 💓

This is my best friend Olivia! Her mom is also a hairstylist so I’ve never had her in my chair before, and we decided to do something completely different!! She usually keeps her hair long and icy blonde, and we decided to chop some length and give her a shiny golden moment ✨

Amy is one of my regular clients and we colour her hair once a year. we usually go lighter and brighter but today we wanted to switch it up, and i’m OBSESSED. the rich warm tones are my fav and it makes her eyes pop 😍

2023 is the year we’re using less heat on our hair and embracing our hairs natural texture 💫

my client Sydney has always wanted to be as blonde as possible! today she wanted to bring her root down and add some dimension, and tone the blonde more golden. i’m obsessed with the turnout! it makes her eyes pop and still feels bright.
