From August through September 15, Tommy Gun’s locations across Canada came together to support True North Aid and their work with northern and remote Indigenous communities.

This partnership was especially meaningful because it went beyond simply raising funds. It gave our teams the opportunity to have important conversations in-shop about access to education and the challenges many families face when basic school supplies can be difficult or expensive to access.

Through programs like Back to School, True North Aid helps provide students with backpacks filled with essential school supplies, culturally relevant books, and educational resources that help remove barriers to learning. Their broader work also supports northern communities with practical resources, health initiatives, cultural programs, and essential supplies.

In 2025 alone, their educational programs delivered more than 2,000 backpack kits and nearly 3,000 books to northern and remote Indigenous communities across Canada.

We’re incredibly proud that our network was able to contribute more than $25,000 toward this work.
