A client came in recently for forehead lines and was shocked when I explained all the other things neurotoxin can help with.

Neck bands, gummy smiles, bunny lines, excessive sweating, a subtle brow lift, downturned corners of the mouth… the list goes on!

One of my favourite parts of a consultation is showing clients that the concern they’ve been bothered by for years may actually have a treatment option they never knew existed.

What surprised you most on this list? šŸ‘‡

Those lines don’t have to be your forever.

Being a mom and breastfeeding means my regular Dysport appointments are on pause (😭), and I’m definitely counting down the days until I can get back in my chair.

One thing I’m grateful for is that before baby, I stayed consistent with my treatments. Because of that, my forehead and frown lines never became deeply etched into my skin, making them much easier to maintain over time.

This is why I’m such a believer in prevention. It’s not about looking frozen or different. It’s about softening the lines that bother you and preventing them from becoming deeper and more permanent.

This before and after is proof that sometimes a small treatment can make a big difference!

One session down and already seeing fading progress.

Tattoo removal is a process, not a one-treatment fix. Most tattoos require around 8–10 sessions spaced approximately 6 weeks apart to safely and effectively break down the ink over time. Factors like ink colour, tattoo age, depth, and placement all play a role in how quickly it fades.

Slow and steady wins this race, but watching the tattoo lighten session by session is always so satisfying.šŸ˜

Frown lines are funny because one day you’re doing your makeup and suddenly you realize that ā€œresting faceā€ line is sticking around even when you’re completely relaxed.

The 11s are one of the most common areas I treat, but getting a soft, natural result is about so much more than just placing product and hoping for the best. Everyone’s muscle strength, facial movement, anatomy, and goals are different. Some people want a little movement left, others want those lines barely visible. The artistry is customizing it to you.

One of my favourite things about Dysport is how refreshed people look afterwards. Not frozen. Not ā€œdone.ā€ Just less tired, less tense, and smoother in a way that still feels like you.

This before and after is the exact reason I love what I do. Subtle changes can make such a big difference in how you feel when you look in the mirror.

Marionette lines are one of the most challenging areas to treat in aesthetics. By the time these lines start to settle in, there’s usually a combination of volume loss, collagen loss, and changes in bone structure happening beneath the surface. It’s never just ā€œone line.ā€

Over the years I’ve spent countless hours refining my technique to treat this area in a way that looks natural, balanced, and refreshed. It definitely didn’t happen overnightšŸ˜…. Trainings with industry leaders, mentorship, experience, and a lot of learning through practice all led to results like this.

The best part of my job is seeing someone look in the mirror and still feel like themselves, just softer, fresher, and more confident.🄲

If marionette lines have been bothering you, know there are options and treatment can make a huge difference when done thoughtfully and artistically. I can’t wait to see you in clinic and help create a plan customized for you.

Forehead lines are not always caused by movement. Sometimes they’re sleep lines. Those little etched-in lines can form from repeated pressure and folding of the skin while you sleep, often showing up vertically or in patterns that don’t match normal expression lines.
This is where filler can be the better choice over Botox or Dysport.

Neuromodulators work by relaxing the muscle that creates movement lines. Great for dynamic wrinkles. But sleep lines are often static lines caused by tissue creasing, so simply relaxing the muscle may not fully soften them.

Filler works differently. It supports and restores volume beneath the skin, helping lift and smooth the crease from underneath. Think scaffold, not freeze.
In this before + after, we used a small amount of filler to soften the area while keeping everything natural.

Another area we can use filler for this static lines not cause by the muscles is the neck (tech neck lines), perioral area (smokers lines) and the cheeks (accordion lines). Who comes up with these names 🄲

Treatment cost: $375
Longevity: 2 to 4 years depending on metabolism and lifestyle

Not every line needs tox. Sometimes it needs support.

I get asked this all the time… ā€œhow do I make my tox last longer?ā€ and honestly, it’s not one big secret, it’s the little things you do after šŸ‘‡šŸ¼

From my injector brain (and also me being someone who gets it done too), here’s what actually makes a difference with Botox / Dysport:

• No workouts for 24 hours
I know… I don’t love this one either. But I follow it every time. Let it settle properly before increasing blood flow or you risk it not lasting as long.

• Zinc supplements
Not a miracle, but I personally take it and a lot of my clients notice their results kick in a bit better and last longer.

• Consistency is everything
This is the biggest one I see clinically. When you stay on a schedule, your muscles actually start to ā€œlearnā€ to relax. Over time, you need less movement correction and your results last longer.

It’s not about doing more… it’s about doing it smarter.

I think it’s time for a little reintroduction šŸ¤

I fell in love with aesthetics because it’s the perfect mix of art and science. I’ve always been drawn to anything creative, but I also wanted a career grounded in evidence and skill… this just made sense.

Fun fact most people don’t know, I actually started as a lash technician back in 2013. I was already a registered nurse, but I couldn’t ignore how much I loved this space… so I followed it.

And honestly, my younger self would be really proud of where I am today. I try to remind myself of that more often.

My approach is simple. Natural results, always.
I don’t believe in overdoing it, and I definitely don’t believe in stripping down your skin barrier in the name of ā€œbetter skin.ā€

I’m also not here to sell to you.
My clients will tell you that. I care more about being honest and building long-term relationships than pushing treatments you don’t need.

Because the truth is… this isn’t just a one-time appointment. We’re usually in it for the long run. I want to know you, your goals, and a little bit about your life too.

A couple things I always like to clear up:
Botox doesn’t last forever (I wish it did), and filler doesn’t have to look fake. When it’s done properly, it should be undetectable. It’s just one tool in a much bigger toolbox.

Outside of work, I’m a mom of three (yes… three šŸ˜…), running on coffee and chaos most days. Lately, I’m really trying to slow down and soak in this season, especially with our newest baby. I know how fast it all goes.

And if I’m not in clinic, I’m probably laughing at a comedy show with my partner or trying to enjoy a hot coffee before it gets cold.

My favourite treatments?
Erbium YAG for the results… and tox because it’s truly the backbone of everything we do. It just works.

If you’ve been here for a while, thank you. And if you’re new here, I’m really glad you’re here šŸ¤
