My guest decided she wanted some fun hair again! She has been growing out natural hair and letting the greys come in and we really love how that is going. But she really missed her fun colours.

We decided to spice up her colour and protect her grow-out progress by just coloring where the old colour was and leaving her natural hair alone.

It felt so nice to be creative and just donsomething cool! If you know me, you know I LOVE natural grey hair! I wanted to keep her greys but give them a POP of fun.

Warm weather means it's time to freshen up your hair!

✨️ My guest wanted to be brighter but still dimensional and low maintenance so we opted to do a partial head of highlights to maintain the dimensional she already had.

I detailed her hairline with a combination of traditional and teased baby lights to achieve blended brightness. I decided to combine traditional highlights and baby lights to give pops of brightness without being stripey.

I'm obsessed with the results and they should last at least 4-6 months! ✨️

This is one of my absolute favourite looks we've done on this guest!

Her goal for this appointment was something a little less blonde, but still bright, and low maintenance.

Bet!

I had been dying to try out a braided balayage technique I'd seen and I thought this was the perfect opportunity.

By using a base colour that matched her natural colour, my guest won't need to touch up her colour for at least 6 months.

These rainbows were a labour of LOVE I tell ya. But the best part was seeing the look on her face when we were done! 😍

All she wanted for her birthday was rainbow hair🌈 so of course we had to deliver! We decided to take a section about 2 inches wide all the way around her hair and paint rainbows using the technique.

We wanted to achieve this without using lightener to keep her hair as healthy as possible so I used and 6vol for 20mins to lighten the section we would turn into rainbows.

Projects like these are very dear to my heart ❤️. I love giving young people the chance to express themselves and boost their confidence.

When you like your blondes the way you like your coffee; icy 🧊

I usually see most of my blonde guests every 6-8 months. That means we need a soft gown out, no harsh lines of demarcation. For that reason, babylights are my go to for a soft and seamless blend.

I'm obsessed with the results and my guest loves having an icy blonde that lasts longer than 6 weeks!

Sometimes I get a result that genuinely shocks me, this was one of them 🤯

Last time my guest was in for her colour, she left with a RED 🖍 When she messaged me and said she wanted to head back in the more blonde direction, I wasn't sure that would be entirely achievable for this appointment 😬

I was pleasantly surprised to see how nicely the red had faded and decided to just work with it.

A full foilayage and lowlight later, we got a beautiful golden bronde and we were both obsessed 😍

Spring is the season of growth and change so of course that means a colour change!

My guest had been rocking a dusty rose look for a while (swipe to see the dust rose 👀) and decided it was time for something different. We liked the idea of a deep red but I wanted to add something fun to it.

I loved the dusty rose we had been doing and wanted to incorporate it somehow into the red look we were going with. So I used a halo colour placement to keep the rose colour.
