A look at what our students have been working on this week! 👀

This week, students have been learning about headaches, including some of the factors that can contribute to them and how massage therapy may be used as part of a treatment approach.

Of course, learning the theory is only part of it. Students also had the chance to put that knowledge into practice with hands-on techniques focused on the head, neck, shoulders, and surrounding areas.

Building the connection between classroom knowledge and practical skills is a big part of preparing our students for life as Registered Massage Therapists. 💪

There’s always something exciting about the start of a new intake — new faces, new friendships, and the beginning of the journey toward becoming Registered Massage Therapists.

Meet Kasandra! 👋

Kasandra is one of our incredible instructors here at PIMT. Compassionate, encouraging, and always ready to support her students, she brings a thoughtful and caring approach to the classroom.

In addition to being an RMT, Kasandra recently finished school for counselling — adding another accomplishment to an already impressive résumé! 🎓

And for the important stuff... a fun fact about Kasandra: she has been stuck in an elevator twice in her life. 🛗😅

So if you ever find yourself getting on an elevator with her, you may want to think twice. 😂

We’re lucky to have Kasandra as part of the PIMT team, helping to guide our future RMTs!
