Mental Health is important to me, for myself, my kids, my soon to be client’s in my chair as a stylist + as a Therapeutic Recreation Specialist.

As you may or may not know, I am in school for Therapeutic Recreation full time. What that means is I will be using recreation, leisure and play to support people of varying age, abilities and illness. Some of the areas I am interested in working, are mental health and addictions, pediatrics, rehab, spinal cord injuries, & hopefully in schools one day.

This year my goal has been to focus on myself, after an extremely hard personal experience last fall, I really needed to take second and focus on what my body was trying to tell me. I choose to go to counseling and share my struggles with those closest to me.

I hope in sharing quotes that i’ve found helpful and inspiring.... It will bring you some peace, inspiration and some comfort that someone does care about you. I do.

I would like to take a moment to sincerely thank all of my clients for your continued support over the past few months. Taking time to focus on my emotional well-being was an important and necessary decision, and I am truly grateful for those who reached out to check in on me—it meant more than you know.

I’m excited to share that, I have made the decision to leave Personalities Hair Design and begin a new chapter at Kink Hair Culture. This is an incredible opportunity to work alongside Zennovia once again and to further specialize in curly hair services.

I warmly welcome all clients to join me in this new space. Kink Hair Lounge offers a unique and elevated experience, and I am looking forward to continuing our journey together there.
