Bailatinas Hosts Fundraising Garage Sale This Saturday

SASKATOON — The Latin dance group Bailatinas is inviting the community to a vibrant fundraising garage sale this Saturday, October 2nd, beginning at 8 AM at 3429 Caen Street, Montgomery Place. Organizers say they will remain open “until the last taco is gone,” highlighting the fun and welcoming spirit of the event.

The fundraiser aims to support the group’s cultural programming, including costumes, performance expenses, and dance workshops that help Bailatinas continue sharing Latin heritage across Saskatoon.

Statement from Poleth, Coordinator of Bailatinas:

“I want to invite everyone to support us this Saturday at our fundraising garage sale. Your support helps us keep sharing our Latin culture through dance. All funds raised go toward our costumes, performance expenses, and workshops for the group. We’ll be there from 8 AM until the last taco is gone — and we hope to see you there! If you can share this with your family and friends, it would help us so much. Thank you for being part of our community.”

The group encourages residents to stop by, enjoy the food, browse the sale, and help sustain Saskatoon’s multicultural arts scene.

Visitors can expect a lively mix of food, activities, and community engagement, including:
• Aguas frescas, tres leches cake, tacos, and more
• Clothing and household items
• Family‑friendly activities
• A warm, community‑focused atmosphere
