WLD is an annual advocate-driven celebration, which was established in 2016 by the United States Senate in response to a bill written by the Lymphatic Education & Research Network (LE&RN). The year 2026 marks the 11th year of World Lymphedema Day. Although the day is called World Lymphedema Day, it’s about educating the world on all lymphatic diseases, including primary and secondary lymphedema (LE), lipedema (LI), lymphatic filariasis (LF), lymphatic malformations (LM), and the full lymphatic continuum (LC) of diseases impacted by the lymphatic system.

Physical therapists Maybelle Murphy and Monique Marshall provide personalized, evidence-based care to help you manage lymphedema and regain confidence in your daily activities. We offer treatment for both upper and lower extremity lymphedema, with an emphasis on comfort, education, and long-term results.

We are excited to welcome Julia Kelly, Registered Dietician, to the Nomad Therapies team.

Julia has always been passionate about food—both enjoying it and learning about it—which is what led her to become a Registered Dietitian. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition at the University of Saskatchewan and is licensed with the Saskatchewan College of Dietitians.

Born and raised in Saskatoon, she is proud to call this city home. When not working with clients, you’ll usually find her at the gym, walking her puppy, checking out new local restaurants, heading to the lake, or spending time with friends and family.

Her approach to nutrition coaching is holistic, client-centred, and sustainable. She is here to support her clients in achieving their health goals in a way that feels aligned and empowering to them. With so much nutrition misinformation circulating these days, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed or misled. Her goal is to simplify nutrition, cut through the noise, and help you feel confident in the choices you make around food and your health.
