Spring Greetings!

Thank you to all of our clients for choosing Superior Nordic to keep you gliding this past season, what an incredible season it was!

There is still some excellent, FAST spring skiing left, so get out and take advantage of the milder weather and sunshine ☀️ while the trails are still open!

If however you're ready to unclip from your bindings and mount your pedals, slip on your flip flops, dust off the ball glove, or break out the camping gear, now is the time to book your skis in for a complete cleaning and storage wax application (wax to be left on bases through summer). Protect your investment! Storage wax will ensure your ski bases are well hydrated and protected through the warm summer months.

Pricing is $10 for the cleaning and wax application. When winter rolls around next season, bring your skis back in to us and we'll scrape off the storage wax, and brush/polish your bases at an additional $10 (complete service is essentially the same price as our regular waxing packages).

***CLASSIC SKI Waxing Services***

• COMPLETE SKI-BASE PREPARATION ($30) – bases are cleaned, temperature specific hot iron wax is applied to the glide zones (2x passes), hand scraped, hand/roto brushed, polished and fiberlene’d to finish. Kick wax pocket is cleaned, temperature specific base binder and kick wax applied and corked.

• GLIDE WAX ONLY ($20) – bases are cleaned, temperature specific hot iron wax is applied to the glide zones (2x passes), hand scraped, hand/roto brushed, polished and fiberlene’d to finish.

• KICK WAX ONLY ($10) – kick wax pocket is cleaned, temperature specific base binder and kick wax applied and corked.

***SKATE SKI Waxing Services***

• COMPLETE SKI-BASE PREPARATION ($30) – bases are cleaned, temperature specific hot iron wax is applied to the entire length of the skis (2x passes), hand scraped, hand/roto brushed, polished and fiberlene’d to finish.

• COMPLETE SKI-BASE PREPARATION ($30) – bases and skins are cleaned, temperature specific hot iron wax is applied to the glide zones (2x passes), hand scraped, hand/roto brushed, polished and fiberlene’d to finish.

***ADD-ON Services***

• STORAGE WAX APPLICATION ($15) - performed at the end of season to protect bases during prolonged storage. Bases are thoroughly cleaned, hot iron wax applied.

• STORAGE WAX REMOVAL ($15) - performed at the beginning of season as required. Hand scraped, removal of storage wax, bases are brushed and prepped for new wax application.
