exactly right. I’m so bummed about what’s happening in OHIO now too. Drag helped me become a better musician and performer. If i hadn’t grown up watching drag performers I would’ve never found myself as a performer. Nobody groomed me to become anything I didn’t want to be, just to find a safe space to be myself which lead me to my dreams and the stage. I’m thankful for drag every day and I’m not a drag performer (well aside from a turnabout show or two) lol.
