Your skincare might not be the problem… your tools might be. 👀
If you’re noticing more congestion, blackheads or breakouts, take a look at what you’re repeatedly putting on your face.
Makeup brushes and sponges collect oil, dead skin, makeup and bacteria 🦠. A quick spray with brush cleaner is great between uses, but they still need a proper wash regularly.
🧼Mild dish detergent
💧Soak in 70% alcohol for 15 mins
And sometimes… just replace them!! If they’re old, worn out or you can’t remember the last time they were properly cleaned, it might be time and WORTH IT!
Same goes for at-home dermaplaning blades🔪. You know how I feel about those 😅 but if you’re going to use them, ONE use only. Rinsing them off does not make them clean, and reusing a dull or contaminated blade can lead to irritation and barrier issues.
Clean skin needs clean tools. ✨

As I transition into my new space, Amanda has officially finished her time here at Beauty Infused. 🤍
I am so grateful for the years she’s spent with me and will definitely miss having her at the spa! This was not an easy decision to make but I am optimistic on what’s to come for both of us!

I see beautiful skin every day, and it doesn’t all look the same ✨
We need to stop comparing our skin to the expectation of it looking airbrushed! We all have different genetics and that is reason number 1 to stop comparing. 🫶🏻
Some people have freckles
Some people have larger pores
Some people have texture
Some people have redness
Some people have fine lines
None of those things mean your skin isn’t HEALTHY 🫶🏻
