Why Do Red Dots Appear After Leg Sugaring?
Noticing small red dots after your leg sugaring appointment? Don’t worry—this is completely normal and usually temporary!
Those tiny red dots are called follicular redness. They occur because the hair has been removed directly from the follicle, causing a mild inflammatory response in the skin. This is especially common if:
• It’s your first sugaring appointment
• Your hair was coarse or deeply rooted
• You have sensitive skin
• The hair growth was dense or thick
The redness is a sign that the hair was successfully removed from the root and typically fades within a few hours to 24–48 hours after your appointment 🍯
