Exciting progress today as we collaborated with and Jake from on schematics for our custom marine doors! These five unique designs are crafted to withstand the elements and enhance every journey. We can't wait to see these masterpieces come to life!

Today, we’re taking down the foundation of something great!

Each plate, measuring 4x8ft and 4x10ft, is intricately stitched together in an alternating pattern, showcasing the craftsmanship that goes into every inch. With over 1000 3-inch welds securing these plates, we’re not just building a floor; we’re creating a robust base for what’s to come!

Navigating the intricate journey of bringing our vision to life has been no small feat. Behind the scenes, months of meticulous planning unfolded, where every detail was scrutinized and optimized for safety and efficiency. Collaborating with our expert Naval Architects at , we've committed ourselves to meet and exceed Transport Canada specifications.

In front of us lies our welded foundation—a crucial step where the robust 1/4" floor plates will unite with our solid support structure of H-Beams. Each drawing tells a story of precision and care, highlighting our commitment to quality and safety...

The night before the real work begins….

With any build you realize what you take for granted, things just aren't done for you, and basic issues present themselves... like our floor is 5ft up in the air, and when we put up walls out to the edge of said floor, how do we walk around it and work on the outside of that wall?

These challenges constantly present themselves... and the solutions aren't that easy sometimes... In this case we looked at our structure and came up with the idea of pressure fit cataleavered bracing sections, which wedged between the H-Beams and can safely hold a bunch of weight (us and materials).... After a few days of trial and error (and a many colorful words), we crafted 24 of these supports to give us a 2ft walking path around the boat. Who knew engineering could be this " FUN " 🙄 🛠️ ✨

As we lay the foundation of our vision, every clamp tightened, and every square adjustment brings us closer to the moment we’ve been eagerly awaiting.... the first welds.
