Today is a bittersweet day as I officially enter maternity leave🥹

As I deep cleaned my space top to bottom I reflected over the last 4 years and how grateful I am to be able to do what I love everyday. This will be the longest amount of time I will be taking off from my career in Esthethics and if I’m honest I’m terrified. However, becoming a mom has also been a life long dream of mine and I cannot wait to see who I become when our sweet boy arrives🩵

This is your reminder that it’s okay to take risks, be scared and feel uneasy about the unknown but also your reminder to practice gratitude daily, enjoy the small things and be selfish!

This is definitely not a goodbye but a see you later. Thank you for all the well wishes. I cannot wait to see where this next phase takes C your skin✨

4 years ✨

You may be wondering why I’m not holding the balloon this year—and it’s partially because, as I’m typing this, my hair is soaking wet. But the real reason is that I wanted to highlight the “4” balloon sitting on the chair that has been in my space since day one.

Now again, you may be wondering: Why does a chair have any significance to four years of my spa being open? Let me tell you why.

It’s not about the chair—it’s about the people.

Over the years, I have met hundreds of you. You have come into my space, sat in this very chair, trusted me, trusted my knowledge, and allowed me to see you in your most vulnerable state. I have celebrated your biggest wins and sat with you through your lowest lows. I have laughed with you, cried with you, and listened to your daily stresses as if they were my own. You are the reason I get to do what I love each and every day.

Although this last year has been full of changes and learning how to navigate them, one thing I will never, ever take for granted is the support I’ve received.

Going into year five, there will be even more changes in my personal life as I begin a new journey into motherhood. And if I’m being completely honest—with you and with myself—I truly don’t know what’s in store. But one thing I do know for sure is that I will be back in my space doing what I love.

Thank you for being on this journey with me over the last four years. Here’s to year five and to many, many more 🥹🤍
