Sharing a lil tip 🤯 from @hair_by_oana “🚿It’s definitely not a case of blondes having more fun when it comes to hard water! You probably think that chlorine is the main culprit in this scenario, however, it is copper that causes your hair to turn green. 🟤Copper is a metal that is found in water. 🚰 Even tap water with a high copper ratio will give your hair a green hue. If you have copper pipes at home, it can cause this green hue. Thankfully green hair isn’t a permanent thing and can be removed with demineralizing treatments. That green you're seeing is actually an oxidized mineral buildup. ‼️ These treatments are not a choice, but a must if you have hard water. ❗️Copper also interferes with color processing,because it acts as a catalyst to accelerate developers, which can damage your hair and deliver unexpected color results. ❗️You’ll be shocked by how many problems are linked to mineral build-up on your hair: color fading, brassy blondes, green hues, coarse rigid hair that lacks movement or body/bounce, dull, droopy curls, highlights that seem to “disappear” just a couple weeks after leaving the salon.’”
