Private class day with the team! & it was such a good one 🖤

Came in and did what we always do! Start with the basics, build the toolkit and then let everyone loose on whatever they wanted to do on their models. That’s always when the magic happens.

We covered a lot today but we picked this slick back half up. One of the trickiest looks to really nail, getting it soft and shaped with that clean twist at the top? That takes practice and we made sure everyone got plenty of it this afternoon.

To our last minute model .bandura who showed up so last minute for us! You are an absolute angel and you saved the day!🤍

As promised—the deep dive into that Glam Brontë glow. ✨🤎

I took the wild, romantic spirit of a classic Brontë curl and polished it for a walk down the aisle. Here’s how we achieved this high-shine, structured finish:

The Blueprint:

• The Foundation: Prep is everything. Loads of moisture and heat protection should always be the first step. Then my fave Schwarzkopf mousse on dry hair to give those roots some serious last all day lift without the frizz or mess of back combing.

• The Technique: Instead of a standard wrap, I use a drop curl on tiny sections with a lot of tension between twists. This helps to create that rope-like texture.

• The Glam Factor: The secret? A heavy mist of a high shine med hold hairspray to break everything apart and add an airy texture.
Finished off with some shine spray and a spray oil mist to make everything touchable healthy and polished.

and I created this big, bold Dynasty-inspired look on Monday, and I’m obsessed with how it turned out. On our content days, we’ll spend hours working toward just one perfect photo. That behind-the-scenes practice is how we sharpen our craft, get quicker at capturing images on wedding days, and push ourselves to master the kind of glam that makes a bride feel iconic.
