My Story
I Joanne Smith, am the Creator, Owner and Operator of Jo’s Nails & Cosmetics. In 2007 at 30 I still hadn’t figured out what I really wanted too do in my life. I had already had my beautiful girls, and was ready to get back to the work world. I was searching newspaper ads looking for a job, as many people do, when I had stumbled upon a ad for a Nail Technician course, and at that point I was all in. I knew I wanted to create something that was mine.
I decided working from home was the best option, so I could be home for my girls. That’s when I opened my Home Based Nail Salon in April of 2008. I have never looked back, and still to this day 11 years later love what I do.
