We've taken in a student to complete her massage therapy practicum!

Bryn has been a customer at the clinic for 5 years and started the massage therapy program in 2021. She has an athletic and coaching background. Her skillset is already strong and there is a huge potential for even more growth!

We will offer student massages from August- late December 2022. They are not compatible with benefits or direct billing and will be priced at $50/h. Availability is on Thursdays and Fridays and online booking is up!

Manual Osteopath exams are coming up soon.

We have gift cards available! We designed and printed them ourselves!

Still figuring out the anatomy of the knee. Made a drawing of the major ligaments that are surgically repaired when torn. The ligaments heal very slowly or not at all because they have limited blood flow. Usually muscles will make a 'splint' that travel a similar path to the damaged ligament.

All said, shading is hard!

Good news, Yong was accepted into a new training program. Beginning in late February she will be studying and preparing to be a manual osteopath (between a massage therapist and a chiropractor). Don't worry, she will still be doing massage and will have a wider skillset to help! In 13-14 months time we will also be able to direct bill under 'osteopath'.

Isaac will mooch off her resources and begin the program in 2021.

Alberta health services says massage can fully open Monday January 18! There have not been any outbreaks at massage clinics.
