Nano - link extension transformation 🩶

I started by removing old tape ins, then continued on with a Malibu treatment to clear away buildup and leftover product, then got right into a full head of nano-link extensions.

Why a Malibu treatment? When transitioning from one extension method to another, the prep matters just as much as the install. Old adhesive, oils, hard water minerals, and product buildup can sit on the hair over time, so giving the hair a proper reset helps create the cleanest foundation possible before installing something new.

Nano links are one of my favourite methods for finer hair or anyone wanting flexible, comfortable wear with lots of natural movement. The beads are small, discreet, and allow for a really seamless blend while still keeping the hair feeling lightweight.

Living in Squamish, we deal with hard water, sweat, dry shampoo, styling products, oils, and environmental buildup that collect on the scalp over time and often aren’t fully removed with regular cleansing at home.

The goal is always a seamless blend, natural movement, and healthy wear. Wefts are slowly becoming one of my favourite options for adding fullness while keeping everything soft and undetectable.

Every install here is customized to your hair type and your lifestyle. Not everyone needs length. A lot of the time, it’s density that makes the biggest difference. The right amount can make fine hair feel fuller without adding weight or feeling bulky.

A couple simple care tips to keep extensions looking their best after an install are
• Brush gently a minimum of twice daily, holding at the root to avoid tension.
• Always fully dry the root in the weft area after washing even if you’re allowing hair to naturally dry.
• Sleep with your hair in a loose braid or low pony to prevent tangling.

Our goal is to keep it low maintenance, but the right small at home habits make all the difference.
