For a long time, I thought success meant doing everything myself.

Owning my chair rental felt like the goal. Independence. Freedom. Being my own boss.

But somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn’t building freedom anymore—I was building responsibility upon responsibility.

I struggled with boundaries.

I answered never ending messages.
Solved every problem.
Managed inventory.
Handled taxes.
Booked appointments.
Wore every single hat.

Could I do it? Absolutely.

Did I need to? No.

One of the hardest adult decisions I’ve made was choosing the business that actually fit my life. Instead of the one I thought I was supposed to want.

Today I have receptionists.
I have support.
I have insurance.
I have a team.
I still have access to incredible products and education.

And most importantly… I have more space to be present—for my clients, my family, and myself.

This isn’t a post saying chair rental is bad. It wasn’t.

It simply wasn’t the right fit for me anymore.

Success looks different in every season.

Sometimes growth isn’t adding more.
Sometimes it’s having the courage to let something go that no longer serves you.

What feels like a step backward to someone else can actually be the biggest step forward you’ve ever taken. 🤍

After 16 incredible years behind the chair, countless beautiful clients, and years of building my own business, it’s time for a new chapter.

I’m officially moving salons.

This decision wasn’t made lightly, but it feels so right. I’ll be working closer to home, closer to my family, and alongside a team of incredibly talented stylists who inspire creativity, growth, and collaboration.

Over the years I’ve learned that we aren’t meant to do life—or this industry—alone. Creativity thrives in community, and I’m excited to be surrounded by artists who challenge, support, and encourage one another.

To my clients, thank you for trusting me through every season. Your support has allowed me to build a career I truly love, and I can’t wait to continue creating beautiful hair with you in this next chapter.
