July 31st marks 29 years standing behind my chair. Hairdressing is a unique career I’ve learnt. One on one of lifetime relationships, being involved in some of the most important days of one’s life.
In my career I’ve been with my clients through graduations, weddings, and funerals. I’ve shaved clients’ hair as we both cried as treatments were taking impact. I’ve been the first to know of pregnancies, and first to know a divorce was coming. I’ve kept secrets, and will till I die.
I have clients still with me today since the beginning, clients who have come and gone. For you all I’m thankful, blessed to have had such an amazing career. Blessed to have been part of your life.
The time has come for me to step back from my chair. Thank you for 29 years of my career, without you it could have never happened. Forever grateful ❤️.

25 years ago today I opened my business, nervous of the unknown , excited for the adventures. In 25 years behind my chair I have celebrated grads, weddings, births, anniversaries, I have grieved with wives, husbands, mothers, fathers, sons and daughters. I have shaved heads of clients going through treatments as we both cried, I have laughed so hard it hurt from clients life stories. I have held secrets never to be told. All of this and so much more my scissors and color bowl have allowed. I love my career, but my true love is the relationship with my clients. Thank you for allowing me 25 years of being part of your lives, sharing with me, and supporting my little business. I can never express how grateful I am, to you, my clients, without you 25 years would not be possible for me. Thank you and cheers to many more!🎊🎊🎊
