Mudder's Soap

I am braving the coming winds, and at the St. John's Farmers' Market today, 9am-4pm. I brought a little of everything. Sorry still no shower steamers; Life is busy but I will get them made.

Yay trade wars...says nobody ever 🫤. I've looked through the list of Canada's counter tariffs to figure out what will impact me. Looks like anything paper related (boxes & crinkle paper included), aluminum foil, and safety pins are the direct impacts to my business. However, I should have enough stock on hand to hold out to the end of this year, maybe a little into 2027.

Plastic containers tariffs I can see increasing oil prices at stores, so I am watching that.

My plan is to operate on what I have & not change prices this year. I will hold with you all, and 100% divert to canadian made or made somewhere not in the USA. If I can't get materials at a reasonable price, I just won't make that particular item.

I'm back at the St. John's Farmers' Market this Saturday, Sep 5th, and I'm bringing the goods!! 🫧

My newest soap, 'Northern Shore', is making its debut and it's like a refreshing ocean breeze in a bar (but, you know, not actually a breeze because that would be strange). Eucalyptus inspired by the clean air and Frankincense like the rugged ground, just like a trip to Newfoundland's northern coast.

I am back at the St. John's Farmers' Market today, 9am-4pm. While I have no shower steamers today, I do have these sweet, ready to gift, guest soaps. A steal at only $5 each.

Today is my only market for August, so stop by if you need anything. The front entrance is a single shared in and out lane due to sidewalk construction. To avoid this, you can park in the CRA parking lot behind us off Empire Avenue. Quick walk down to the entrance.

Swing by for all the birthday festivities!! FYI, you can park behind the farmers market in the CRA parking lot on saturday (lots of parking spots available). Access off of empire avenue. Just walk down the path to get to the market.

Just dropped off more of the Ferryland Fog soap to the Colony of Avalon's gift shop. Took in a tour & got to see a game piece they just discovered today in the ground. Amazing to see the past so up close. Highly recommend making the drive out to see this place.
