Penny Fifield has been in the hair and beauty industry as a stylist for over thirty years; starting her career at the famous Adam and Eve salon was just the launching point for her creative, diverse and rewarding career. The length and culmination of experience that Penny has in her apron is impressive, and her focus on education ensures that she is a master of her craft and continuously ahead of the curve. When you are skilled, passionate, talented and generally great to be around the world of education and travel opens its doors to you. One of an elite group of National Designers to travel and educate with the world-renowned Zotos Group, Penny enjoyed many years of presenting on stage across Canada and throughout the US. She has trained around the world, some of her favourite locations being England, Holland, Spain, Mexico, Jamaica and throughout the US. Some highlights, pun intended, were her sessions with industry greats including; Zotos, Rusk, Cheyanne Group, MacMillan & MacMillan in England, Lluis Llongueras in Spain. Penny continues to share her knowledge and continue education for others under her own consulting company. Penny’s thirst for knowledge and desire to learn and master all elements of the hair design industry brought her to the sales side with the DWA Sales Group as Atlantic Representative traveling through Canada and the US selling international professional beauty brands including Kasho Shears, Essie, Helen of Troy (Hot Tools, Helix and Fusion), and Marianna Industries. When Penny looks back through her years of experience, there are a few local standouts that are close to her heart; hair and makeup during the initial years of Spirit of Newfoundland, Rogers TV, and even the surprising but rewarding experience of hair, makeup and disguise for Greg Roberts, owner of Mary Brown’s, when he appeared on Undercover Boss Canada (still in syndication). Last fall, Penny’s work appeared in the Women’s International Film Festival in the award winning feature ‘The Tour’. As far as she has traveled, and through all she has learned Penny just cannot stay away from her true love and passion that always brings her back behind the chair. Her newest and most exciting journey has just begun, as Elite Master Stylist she is an independent owner of her exclusive Create You Hair Design Studio. This well-appointed, and conveniently located salon allows Penny to ensure her clients are given the personal attention they want and deserve in a relaxing and calm environment. Penny is now taking new clients, as her appointments fill quickly, two weeks advance notice is recommended to secure your time.

For a lot of years I've worked with many cancer patients, fighters, warriors, survivors.
It's a life changing challenge that no one wants to face. Ever.
I've helped men, women and children when faced with this.
Its heartbreaking, devastating, knock-you-back-on-your-butt news. But it's also strengthening.
It shows us courage. It shows us determination. It shows us strength. It brings us closer as friends, family and stylist. I've become 'family' with people who were strangers to me before. And they with me.
We've been very blessed to have come into each others lives at such a challenging time.
For those who may know someone facing this now and not knowing where, or to whom, to turn to when their hair starts to deteriorate, thin and/or fall out you can let them know I'd be honored to help them out.
I've worked with wigs and Hair extensions for many a year. It isn't something that I've been public about simply because it's such a private ordeal. It's a devastating blow to lose your crowning glory. Even when it hasn't always been cooperative or looking it's best. But it's your own!
I can help guide you to a look that you feel most comfortable with. Guide you and help you in selecting and purchasing a wig. And most certainly in shaping and styling your wig! You can learn to love it!! And yourself wearing it!
I'm proud to offer a beautiful, comfortable and private setting in my Studio. I can also come to you. It's your choice and I'm happy to accommodate.

It's hard to believe that 2 months have gone by since my dad passed away. It doesn't seem real most days...
To my clients past, present and 'new'. I've cherished every friendship made along the way and you've all made the past days, months and years really, that much easier with your understanding, compassion and kindness.
Thank You for the cards, flowers, food, snacks, coming to the funeral home, dad's celebration of life, messages and phone calls, the kind words and gestures, and the multitude of hugs. Ohhhh the hugs.
You are more than just clients to me, you have become friends. Very dear friends who have helped to lighten my load and every day you've helped ease the pain of losing my father. To each of you, Thank You, I'm forever grateful and humble to have you in my life 💗
