Cherished Salon is honoured to partner with Everly’s Embrace Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to supporting families affected by pregnancy and infant loss.

Everly’s Embrace was founded by Sara in memory of her daughter, Everly Mae Jones, who lived to be 9 months and 27 days old before her life was tragically and unexpectedly taken on March 26, 2025.
Everly was a tiny 14-pound girl with a huge personality. Her big brown eyes drew people in, and her signature bunny-like nose-scrunch smile was impossible not to love. She was tender-hearted, curious, and full of joy. She loved watching birds at the pet store, exploring nature on walks, and her favourite food was pears. Everly found happiness in life’s simple moments and touched the hearts of everyone who met her.

To honour her life, Sara created Everly’s Embrace Foundation, which provides bereavement care packages to hospitals, supplies new outfits through Everly’s Closet Carts, organizes annual memorial walks, and works toward providing CuddleCots to local hospitals. Sara also lovingly crochets comfort bunnies that are shared with families around the world.

To support this meaningful work, Cherished Salon will be selling Everly’s handmade crocheted bunnies for $10 each. Payments can be made by cash or e-transfer, with 100% of proceeds going directly to Everly’s Embrace Foundation.

As a salon that serves many women and families in our community, we have shared in stories of pregnancy and infant loss, and this partnership felt like a meaningful way to support those navigating unimaginable grief.
