I really appreciate when clients are willing to support this little business of mine over stopping for quick services in the city 🥰
While I genuinely understand the ease of stopping in at a place while you’re running your errands, a lot (not all!) of their goals rely on how many people they can get in and out of their chairs in a day.
This beautiful client came from one of those places, and it probably seemed ok when she left! But you can see there was a lot of inconsistencies in shape and bulk. It takes time for the after result, careful removal, gentle but effective cuticle work, rebuilding the structure that was missing on the sides, but look how beautiful the end result was!
I’m not going to lie to you, after my recent course my nail appointments aren’t necessarily short 😅 BUT I realized that I was missing a lot of the important things because of prioritizing speed. I’m working at doing things as best as I can so that the right habits become second nature and we can produce this after result in a shorter time. In the meantime I’m FOREVER grateful for my clients and the relationship we form over the time we get together 🥰

I’ve been obsessing over the cuticle work from this last weekends course 🥰 I’ve always told my clients why I love doing the prep work, and trust me they don’t mind sitting through it for the results! But this weekend refreshed how I can do the cuticle work even better 🥰
4 years ago I started my first nail course with Lana 🥰 4 years later I’ve been struggling with some social media/business/life burn out. I still have amazing clients who keep me busy don’t get me wrong! But I have been doing nothing extra, and if you know me, I’m a little extra 😏 I needed to reset and re-learn some skills. I always want to keep learning and growing in whatever I’m doing.
Reflecting on the change in my business and myself over this time, I AM proud of where I am and I’m ALSO excited about where it’s going to grow. I love being able to see where things need improvement without hating myself or the process.
Just feeling thankful today! To be able to work from home while my kids are so young, to have a supportive husband who also works so hard, to have amazing clients, and for people like Lana who continually push for greatness with kindness and love 🥰

Eek! You guys made that week fun haha, throw in a couple winter storms to top it off on a booked solid week, we did it! Thank you so much to everyone for your continued support this year, I’m forever grateful to be doing something that I love and spending time with all of you doing it! After an 11 hour day today I’m officially on holidays!
