Season Greetings from behind the chair at The Turquoise Mirror.

Hard to believe I find myself at the end of December already. Every year I take a little time to reflect over the past 12 months. Taking pleasure in the memories of all the good things that happened, learning, growing and healing from the things that maybe did not go as smoothly or according to plan.

Looking back over 2025, I can see once again I have been truly blessed. My beautiful little salon celebrated 7 years of business this April, holy smokes how time flies. (I can’t believe how quickly that time has gone by.) I’ve had the pleasure of working day by day along side two amazingly talented women. We had the opportunity to attend hair shows and educational events all over southwestern Ontario with industry leaders. And to round out the year, for our staff holiday celebration, I decided some pampering was much deserved and treated the girls to spa pedicures and then a dinner out.

Despite all of life’s ups and downs in this crazy world, you our wonderful clientele have continued to be a constant source of kindness, love and support. All of which have meant more to me than you’ll ever know. It truly is a pleasure and an honour working with each of you.

I wish you a safe, relaxing and most importantly a peaceful New Year’s Eve. I know this time of year is not always happy or easy for everyone, so try to enjoy the time with those most important to you and remember to indulge a little over the holidays.

I look forward to 2026 and all the wonders that it has in store. I also look forward to seeing and visiting with each of you in the new year.
