We’re so excited to officially welcome Brook to the Bombshell Studio team beginning October 13!

Brook is incredibly passionate about hair, with a special love for colour and highlights. She is already an amazing stylist, and I’m so excited to guide her throughout her apprenticeship as she continues building her skills, confidence, and independence behind the chair.

Brook will be working under my guidance and supervision and will be accepting new clients on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays for now.

Please join us in giving Brook a warm welcome to Bombshell Studio! She will be the perfect addition to our team, and I can’t wait to see where this exciting journey takes her! 🖤

Today was one of the hardest days I’ve had as the owner of Bombshell Studio.

After eight years, Michelle came in to pack up eight years’ worth of belongings, but it felt like we were packing up so much more than that. Eight years of working side by side. Eight years of growing Bombshell together. Eight years of memories, laughter, tears, changes, challenges, new faces walking through our doors, and all those ridiculous “words of the day” that somehow became part of who we were.

When Michelle handed me her keys, I looked at her and said, “Well… that was a good run.”

But those few words could never hold everything those eight years meant to me.

Closing this chapter was incredibly emotional. I cried a lot. Because Michelle was never just a stylist who worked at Bombshell. Over the years, she became part of my life, part of my family and such an important part of the heart and history of this salon. We have been through so many ups and downs together, watched Bombshell grow and change, and shared more memories than I could ever begin to put into words.

This isn’t how either of us imagined this chapter ending. Michelle has experienced an unimaginable loss, and right now she needs the time and space to grieve, care for herself and her family, and find her way through a life that suddenly looks so different. Grief has no timeline, no instructions and no certainty. Some days are simply about making it through and I hope she always knows that she never has to explain or apologize for doing what she needs to do.

As difficult as it was for me to watch those eight years being packed away, I know they can never truly be put into boxes. They live in the walls of Bombshell, in the people we became, in the stories we’ll continue to tell and in the memories I will carry with me forever.

Bombshell will continue to grow. New faces will come through the doors and new memories will be made but there will always be a piece of this salon that belongs to Michelle. She helped build it, shape it and make it what it is today. No one can ever take that away.

Michelle, thank you for eight unforgettable years. Thank you for standing beside me through every version of Bombshell and every version of ourselves. Thank you for the laughter, the tears, the lessons, the loyalty and all the ordinary days that I didn’t realize would one day become the memories I would miss the most.

I love you, I care deeply for you and your family, and I will always want nothing but happiness, healing and gentler days ahead for all of you.

It was so much more than “a good run.”

It was eight years of friendship, family and building something beautiful together and I will never forget it. 🖤

🖤 A LITTLE BOMBSHELL UPDATE 🖤

We wanted to share an update with our clients regarding our girl Michelle.

For the foreseeable future, Michelle will not be returning behind the chair at Bombshell Studio. ❤️

Michelle has been such a huge part of Bombshell for so many years, and saying that we miss having her at the salon is an understatement. But right now, she needs the time and space to grieve, heal and navigate this new chapter of her life — one day at a time, one step at a time.

She means so much to all of us. We care deeply about her and want nothing but the absolute best for her. Right now, returning to the salon simply isn’t what’s best for her, and we fully support her in taking all the time she needs. 🖤

Michelle will always be part of the Bombshell family, whether she’s standing behind the chair or not. ❤️

With that being said, we do have some exciting news as we look ahead…

Starting in October, we will be welcoming our apprentice, Brook, behind the chair! ✂️🖤

Brook is already incredibly talented and will be working under my guidance and supervision as she continues her apprenticeship. She will also be opening up some much-needed availability and accepting new clients!

With the holiday season approaching quickly, if you’ve been wanting to try Bombshell but haven’t been able to get an appointment, or if you are a former client of Michelle’s and would like to continue coming to Bombshell and have Brook take care of your hair, we would absolutely love to have you. ❤️

We will be starting a client list now for October and the upcoming holiday season, so please reach out to us if you’d like to be added!

Most importantly, we hope everyone continues to send Michelle all the love as she takes things at her own pace. There is no timeline for grief, and there is certainly no timeline for returning. 🖤

Eight years of hair, laughs, long days, amazing transformations, friendships, growth, changes, challenges and SO many memories.

Owning a small business isn’t always easy, but I’m incredibly grateful for every person who has walked through our doors, sat in our chairs, supported us, recommended us, shared our posts and continued choosing Bombshell year after year.

📢 A Quick Update from Bombshell Studio 📢

We’ve recently learned that we’ve been experiencing issues with our voicemail system, likely since the beginning of June. Unfortunately, we were only made aware of the problem after several clients let us know they hadn’t received a call back. We sincerely apologize for this and appreciate everyone who took the time to let us know.

If you’ve left us a voicemail over the past several weeks and haven’t heard back, we’re truly sorry. We are doing our best to return calls and get caught up while we work to resolve the issue with our phone system.

We also wanted to let everyone know that we are not accepting new clients at this time. Our current team consists of one full-time stylist, two part-time stylists, and our fourth stylist is away until further notice. At this time, our focus is on continuing to provide the best possible service to our existing clients.
