Ellen, Jasmine & Krista will be in today to start getting everyone back in order, with a few more of us joining Thursday and even more back on Friday.

After everything our community has been through, we’re SO excited to get back to a normal routine — and we’ve missed you all so much! 💜

Hi! 💛 Just a quick note about the appointment reminders you’re receiving from us.

Summerland is still mostly evacuated due to the wildfire, and we’re not yet allowed back into the salon, so we’re still unable to reopen.

We’re leaving your appointments in our books for now rather than cancelling them, so we have a record of who needs to be contacted and can get everyone rescheduled once we’re able to safely reopen and our staff have had a chance to get settled back into their homes. With the different evacuation zones, not all of our staff live in the same area as the salon, so everyone’s circumstances are a little different.

So if you’re receiving a reminder, please don’t worry — you don’t need to do anything right now. We’ll be in touch as soon as we know when we can safely get back into the salon and start getting everyone back on the schedule.

Well… this definitely wasn’t the kind of “change of plans” we had in mind. 😭🔥

Our doors may be closed right now, but our hearts are with all of you. This salon is so much more than a workplace. It’s our people, our friendships, our conversations, and our community. ❤️

We know many of you have had appointments cancelled, and we’re sure some roots, bangs, and hair in general are starting to make questionable decisions. 😂 But we’ve got you!

If your appointment was affected by the evacuation, please don’t worry about contacting us right now. Once we are safely able to reopen, we will reach out to everyone who missed an appointment and get you rescheduled.

Thank you for your patience, your kindness, your messages, and your continued support during such an uncertain time. It means more to us than you know.

For now, please stay safe and take care of yourselves and your loved ones. Hair can wait. ❤️

A Difficult Day for Our Salon Family ❤️

Due to the mandatory evacuation order in Summerland, our salon will be closed until it is safe for us to return.

Our hearts are with everyone in our community who has been affected and forced to leave their homes. We know this is an incredibly stressful and uncertain time, and we are thinking of all of our clients, friends, families, and fellow local businesses who are navigating this right now.

Hair can wait. Appointments can be rescheduled. What matters most is that everyone stays safe.
