Cheryl Weeks Hairstylist

She began at Transformations School of Hair Design in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Upon completion of her apprenticeship, she travelled to England for extensive training at the prestigious Tony and Guy Academy in London. After travel across Europe, she returned to Halifax to build her clientele at Totally Yours. Cheryl was nominated for the “Best Newcomer Hairstylist” award in Canada. She joined the Thumpers’ Team in the mid 90’s and while working alongside the many talented stylists she was able to continue to improve her talents. Over the years, Cheryl has continuously pursued professional upgrading with advanced courses from the esteemed Martin Parsons, Goldwell , Matrix, and countless others. Cheryl was selected to go to Winnipeg for further training and become a member of the Zotos Advanced Designers Team. This presented her with many new & exciting opportunities. As an active member of the Hairdressers Association, Cheryl has volunteered for both fundraisers and community events. She has created looks across a broad spectrum with Halifax Dance, various Theatre productions, and numerous fashion &bridal shows. She finds inspiration in both studying and traveling. Cheryl's "Japan years" have really shaped and redefined her cosmopolitan edge. Now Cheryl is at her happiest working behind the chair bringing out the best in her clients. She presently works with her mother at the 33 year old Barb’s Salon in North Bedeque. As an industry expert, Cheryl’s creative work has been recently published in Style Me Pretty, and Wedding Bells. Cheryl welcomes new clients and vistors alike who desire to “always look their best”.
