We breathed some life back into her locks today, after about 2 years of no colour -- lots of light around her face and just enough to blend her old blonde in.

This fine-haired firecracker came in with one request: Please fix this hot mess that is my "cut".

She had a heavy, disconnected curtain bang and previous breakage that wasn't blended into her cut which resulted in a thick perimeter, a thin, broken top, and a defined ledge between front and back.

Solution? Take just over an inch of her ends, blend bangs into the faceframe, shatter some layers into the heavy areas, and add more texture.

She was open with regards to her colour so I did my thing -- bolder money piece, neutralized the brassy & copper darker tones, brightened up everything around her face, and bring up some select highlights in the crown area.

Where we are today, where we've been, and where she started with me 🖤

Since switching out the copper for a deep brunette, over the last two appointments, we've been creeping back to the light side -- Keeping her hair's health and integrity as first priority.

She keeps up with regular trims, uses professional products at home, uses clarifying shampoo twice a month, applies weekly masks and limits her heat styling. Just the goodest girl.
