Mother daughter trip 🥰 My mom surprised me with tickets to see Bad Bunny’s final show in Chile, which was unbelievably amazing. Than we did our bucket list trip Rapa Nui (Easter Island) 🌺🗿An incredibly isolated, inhabited island. Being here truly brought me inner peace and clarity in what I want in life for myself. We booked our tours with .taharoa_tour._ and our guide .andrea_teao._ was great! She did a fantastic job explaining everything and took extra care of my mom 🥰
Spent time with family, which is always nice especially when you don’t have family back home. Very grateful to have spent this time with my mom. There was a lot of healing 🤍

I also got the toys which made me very happy 🤩

Week 50/51

I just can’t believe that December is coming to an end. The last group of my 8 month workers left, which meant my last trip to the airport this year. Had our final ladies night with lots of fun playing reindeer games. Work Christmas party was fun at . I won a door prize so that was fun. I got the crystal handbag which got lots of compliments. Lots of last minute shopping and coffee date with my kid is always the best.

Week 45 - 49

Wow! I can believe we’re in December. These past 5 weeks have flown by. My back was out for a couple of weeks, with lots of physio and some rest.
I still had some memorable moments. Ladies night, Sunday bingo, Canucks games…ran into #1 Kirk MacLean. Brunch and dinner dates, holiday shopping, got my hair done, but of course my life isn’t perfect and there’s always something going sideways. Not my story to share, but lessons are learned and grateful for people in my life.
Work is busy as our 🍅 season is coming to an end. I got to spend a week with future nurses from Vancouver Island University to talk to the TFW’s. It was very beneficial for everyone.
The highlight over the weeks was watching my son perform with his friends at the Surrey Sassy Awards. They performed 5 songs and did fantastic.
Focusing on ending the year strong and positive, so I can have a better 2026. Let’s do this 💪🏼

Week 44

Back in the office this week to play catch up. High light of the week, walked out of the house and my kid and I are wearing the same pants 😅 and announced a stadium concert for 2026…already excited about that. Ended the week by attending the dinner. It was a fun night and I was so excited to have been able to bring my mom. Ended the week by going to concert. 6th time seeing them as I started going to their concerts in the 90’s when they first came out. Hopefully when they tour with and they come to Vancouver or Seattle just case someone can’t get into the country.

Week 43

What a fantastic week in Anaheim at the IFPA Global Produce & Floral Show 2025. Grateful to be part of such a vibrant community. There’s nothing like connecting with peers, celebrating fresh innovation, and being part of an industry that’s healthy, collaborative, and full of life.
Luckily I had half a day for myself and of course I made my way to the happiest place on Earth…Disneyland 🤍 sad my kids weren’t with me, but it was pretty fun to walk around and take it all in.
So many fun activities and memorial moments: free tattoo, meeting Don Felder, great drinks, yummy food and lots of team building. So honoured for the opportunity to work for an amazing organization.

Week 42

Sports! Sports! Sports!

I was gifted last minute tickets for the Seahawks game so my older son and I went to game. When it’s last minute, I mean last minute. She messaged me at 9:30 and the game was at 1. We missed the first quarter but overall the game was fun even though we lost. Parking is crazy in Seattle when there’s a game, but there was also a Mariner game. We had to walk 30 minutes for descent parking. Went to and picked up a Jem shirt. Childhood memories for sure! I got my 11 year old car detailed and I was really happy with the outcome. It’s like a new car! Went for lunch at Dudes, which is always yummy. Saw the cutest King was only
17 months 😳 absolutely amazing.
It was finally the season opener game with Canucks. Amazing 5-1 win plus seeing players from the 80-90’s come be apart of the opening. Trevor Linden was there 🥰
The John Candy documentary came out. It was so good, I cried.
Ended the week by going out for dinner with friends and went to see eye candy Matt Rife 🥰

Week 41

This week was about self love and be in the moment.
It was suppose to be a short work week because of the stat holiday for National Day of Truth and Reconciliation but I still ended up working but not the full day as it was also Jen’s birthday and we all decided to get together and celebrate her and do what she loved which was nature art. It was great to hear stories and be together as we are still hurting from her tragic loss.
My youngest started working at an amazing barber studio. I’m so proud of his accomplishments and can’t wait to see what his future holds 🩶
I got to see 3 of my favourite girls that help with my self care this week.

💆‍♀️ w/ Sam who looks after my face and makes me feel young.
Ended the week with an after work snack and an awesome time with my kid watching my beloved .
Saturday was about celebrating my dear friend’s book signing as she promotes her book. A definite purchase 📿
Got home for some UFC and made my $10 bet for to win, which he did 💪🏼 🙌🏼

Week 40

First week back from holidays and boy was it busy!!
I had a couple work functions plus a new group of workers arrived. Luckily we ended the week with some fun by playing bingo!! Not just any bingo but at the Roxy.
If you have never gone to bingo loco you definitely should go.
Another crazy week ahead!

Week 38

Viva Mexico 🇲🇽
I’ve been counting down for this vacation. What a treat to go during Mexico’s Independence Day. The festivities were fun to be a part of.
We went to Cabo San Lucas and stayed at adults only resort. This was our first vacation for just the 2 of us. The point of this getaway was to rest and relax. I tried to live in the moment and stayed off my phone, but I did take a few selfies/pictures here and there.
I got 1 excursion day so I killed 2 birds with 1 stone. We went on ATV’s and rode Camels 🐪. What an amazing experience. The location was beautiful as it was along the beach and weather was perfect. It was my favorite part of the trip. We went for massages during the week at Sandbar…highly recommend going there.
I met a lovely young lady named Emma from Montreal who stopped me and said “you look like you’re an amazing person”. We spoke for sometime and she kept telling me how cool I was and made me FaceTime my boys to tell them that they were lucky to have a mom like me. Maybe too many tequilas at that time but it was very sweet. I was pretty happy with all my bathing suits that I brought so I posted them 😆
Hoping to go back again next year as we definitely needed this getaway after the year I’ve had.

Week 37

Soooo much to do this week because I was preparing to be away the following week and disconnecting.
Highlight of the week was seeing Bryan Adam’s for the 3rd time. He was so good!

Week 36

First week of September this week but for the first time since I worked at the greenhouse our team WON the summer tournament. It was so exciting for the guys to get the win as they struggled over the years to get to this spot as the competition was strong.
Super busy at work as lots of preparing is going on as some of the workers are going home this month as their contracts come to an end.
Took a stroll in the greenhouse to take in the beauty of the tomato crop.
Ended the week by attending the Canucks brunch 🤗 one of the things on my bucket list was to get season tickets to the Canucks. When I told Jefe about this he was completely supportive and also wanted the same. So we are officially season ticket holders for my favorite team 🤍 some people won’t get it and will have there comments but this is my team and I have supported them since I was little.

Week 35

Last week of August 🤯

Started my Sunday by having brunch with my oldest. has really yummy sangria flights and we wanted a treat so checked out .langley 🍩
Went to my first drag show at 💃🏼 and it was so much fun and entertaining. Definitely will go back.
As both my kids didn’t have work on the same day I took them to Kitsilano for an evening swim and dinner. Had my first ramen bowl at it was yummy 🍜
One of my girlfriends invited me to see her friends band playing Needless to say that was a blast from the past walking into the joint. Had to have a smokie when I walked out 🤭
My baby boy turned 18 at the end of the week and it was all about celebrating him. It’s crazy how fast time goes by. Couldn’t be prouder of him 🤍
