Just here to clear up the air and resolve and settle any confusion/disagreement there might be regarding our latest interview with CTV news.

As businesses reopen from their pandemic shutdown, some are adding a new charge (surcharge) COVID-19 fees to the bill.

TO CONFIRM:
R Star Hair Studio is NOT charging that extra fee to your bill. We’re against it!
Therefore Im suggesting raising prices instead of adding a surcharge.
PLEASE NOTE: The receipt shown in the clip is not ours!

TO CLARIFY:
To ensure our client’s and our safety, instead of bringing/wearing your own protective gear, R Star is providing protective equipment for each individual entering the shop prior to each service, such as: disposable gloves, masks and disposable cape/ hand sanitizer and proper station sanitation before and after each service.

These new expenses that me as owner now have to take on. I suggested to add($5.00) extra per service provided.

That extra charge is providing my clients that peace of mind and comfort knowing that the business is going out of their way to help and ensure everyone’s safety during this challenging time.
