💍✨ 3 YEARS MARRIED!! ✨💍

Dallas and I truly were love at first sight when we met. We just didn’t want to admit it to ourselves, but everyone in our circles knew otherwise. 🤣🩷

From two kids who got married only 5 months after meeting, to now being thriving business owners, running a homestead, and making 2 beautiful babies together, one here with us and our sweet Lily Marie waiting for us in Heaven. Losing Lily Marie has been the hardest thing we have ever walked through, but we walked through it together. 🥹🩷✨

Dallas, you truly are my person.

Lots of people have walked out of my life, but you chose to stay. I wouldn’t have the life I have today without you. Every dream I have, you somehow find a way to help make it a reality. You make me feel safe, secure, stable, and loved. You gave me consistency. You gave me a home. You gave me things my heart craved my entire life.

I’m so thankful Jesus led me to you and opened my eyes and heart to see the man He had placed right in front of me. 🤍

We haven’t known each other for that long in the grand scheme of life, but we’re already at the point where I feel like I’ve known you forever. I barely remember life before you, and I don’t want to. 🥰

I love you. I love the life we’re building. I love the Kingdom warriors we’re raising and the ones we’ll keep making. 🤣🙈 You know the movie Cheaper by the Dozen? Yeah…we’re gonna be Expensive by the Dozen. 😂

Thank you for sharing in my dreams and turning them into OUR dreams. Thank you for building this crazy, beautiful life with me.

I’m your biggest cheerleader and probably your biggest pain. 🙈🤣 But I will love you until we’re together in Heaven, and then I’ll just keep loving you there too. 🤍✨

Today is the anniversary of my FREEDOM DAY. 🩷✨

Growing up in abuse is an interesting thing because, for the longest time, I didn’t even recognize that what was happening to me was abuse. It wasn’t until I was 20 years old that my Pastor Jordon sat me down, looked me in the eyes like a father would, and lovingly explained the reality of my situation to me.

He was the first person who helped me see it through love instead of judgment. And that changed everything.

A lot has happened since that day. 🥹

I married my best friend. I had the most beautiful baby with him. I opened a salon, started a music business, began homesteading, collected enough house pets and livestock to basically live outside now 🤣, gained friends who became sisters, and even reconnected with one of my sisters.

I don’t have a relationship with my parents or some of my siblings, but I forgive them. I genuinely wish them well and pray they find healing and happiness in their own lives, too. 🤍

And through all the abuse, trauma, heartbreak, healing, rebuilding, and growing, I’ve learned one simple truth:

God is good, all the time. And He is good to ME. 🥹✝️🩷

Freedom is possible. Healing is possible. Forgiveness is possible. And sometimes the journey is beautiful, sometimes it’s messy, and sometimes it’s both at the exact same time.

If you’re still somewhere in the middle of your own story, don’t give up. 😘

The middle isn’t the ending. 🩷✨

Sorry for being MIA this summer, y’all! 😅 It’s been a wild season, but I did take a couple of weeks off in July to recharge. 🤍

Now I’m back in the swing of things, preparing for harvest on our homestead, integrating our chickens, building an indoor coop for winter, cleaning out and organizing our shop, training an indoor puppy, training a yard puppy, getting ready for fall music lessons (because I’m now teaching piano on top of vocals 🎹🎤), celebrating my hubby’s 33rd birthday, managing our stepkids’ summer schedule, and chasing a toddler who treats running away like it’s his love language. 🤣

Most of my salon life has been happening behind the scenes while I prepare for upcoming weddings. August is a busy one! 🤩 Between all the hats I wear, I seriously need to hire a social media coordinator. 😝

I’m the heart behind Sarah’s Beauty Boutique, a makeup artist and beauty stylist based in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, and I travel throughout the province helping women feel beautiful, confident, and celebrated.

A few fun facts about me…

• I’ve loved makeup since I was 15 years old.
• I’ve been styling hair since I was 18.
• I’m a wife, mama, and follower of Jesus.
• I also teach vocal lessons and love helping others discover their confidence through music.
• In my free time, you’ll usually find me writing songs, working on books, creating jewelry, or spending time on our family farm with my husband, our kids, and our growing collection of animals.

I’m spending my day meal prepping! 🍳🥩🥦

One thing about me… I do not like cooking. 🤣 My hubby does most of it, actually. But somehow the kids always say they like it better when I cook. 😂💕

My biggest problem? My family eats like they’re fueling an Olympic team. 😭🤣 The girls eat like three grown adults, my husband has a healthy farm appetite, Levi can absolutely put food away too, and then there’s me… I eat like a bird. I swear I count as half a person. 🐦🤣

I’ve decided to start meal prepping so everything is grab-and-go. I’m hoping it’ll keep us organized, make me cook less during the week, and stop the fridge from magically becoming empty overnight. 😅

When I let the girls make whatever they wanted, our fridge emptied faster than I could keep up, and we’ve been playing catch-up ever since. 😂

Please tell me I’m not the only one who hates cooking but still has to feed everyone! 🤣🙋🏼‍♀️ Anyone else on the meal prep train?

I’m on holidays this week! 😍✨

It’s been exactly what my heart needed. I even kept Levi home from daycare so we could soak up some extra time together. 🥹🩵

My goals this week are simple:
🌸 Enjoy all the hard work we’ve poured into our farm.
🌸 Reset my body.
🌸 Spend intentional time with Jesus.
🌸 Rest.
🌸 Read.
🌸 Journal.
🌸 Write my book.
🌸 And… STAY HOME. 🤣💕

We’re only three days in, and it’s already been so life giving.

This month, I’m really focusing on slowing down and living intentionally. I’m also planning a healthier, more sustainable Fall 2026 schedule so I can protect time for my family, be more involved at church, and spend more time with friends. 🥹🤍

And yes… even though I’m technically on holidays, a beauty artist never completely clocks out. 😂 Between all the rest and resetting, I’m still practicing my updos and makeup on myself and my mannequin because I genuinely love what I do. 🎀✨

Here’s to creating a life that has room to grow, serve, create, and rest all at the same time. 🤍
