Well, here we are. After ten incredible years, it’s time for me to say farewell to Dry Parlour Inc.

It’s a whirlwind of emotions, but mostly, I’m filled with gratitude for being part of something truly magical. “Magical” is the only word that comes close to capturing how this past decade has felt.

Expressing my thanks to everyone who deserves it will be a challenge, but let’s give it a go:

To my amazing clients—you’ve brought so much more than just your hair into the salon. You’ve shared stories, secrets, wisdom, and support that have touched my heart in ways I can’t fully articulate. Thank you for your trust. To our loyal tab holders and regulars: thank you for showing up week after week, for bringing your kids, friends, moms, and coworkers. Thank you for being there before every celebration, important meeting, and weekend getaway. For bringing your daughters and nieces for birthday blowouts, graduation updos, or prom styles—I am endlessly grateful for your unwavering support through thick and thin, rain or shine. Thank you for believing in us and for being our biggest cheerleaders.

To the incredible staff, both past and present—we’ve certainly shared some memorable moments, haven’t we? Watching you grow into some of the city’s finest stylists, entrepreneurs, moms, and more has been the most rewarding part of my journey. Thank you for infusing your creativity and passion into your work and into the lives of your clients. It’s because of you that Dry Parlour became more than just a salon; it turned into a beloved weekly ritual for so many.

To the wonderful communities of Windsor and Tecumseh, thank you for being the best neighbors we could ask for. Thank you for proving the skeptics wrong, for welcoming a new concept into the city, and for giving us a shot. A special shoutout to Family Respite Services for the opportunity to collaborate with you and for trusting us to represent your mission.

To the new owners: thank you for believing in the brand and for your commitment to carrying on the legacy of Dry Parlour Inc. I have no doubt you’ll take it to new heights, and I can’t wait to see what’s next! May God guide you every step of the way as you embark on this exciting chapter.

A heartfelt thank you to someone who was there from the very beginning. Although our paths have diverged, the foundation we built together in those early days will always hold a special place in my heart.

To my family, siblings, and dearest friends: thank you for your unwavering support, honesty, and love. For standing by my side, helping me chase my dreams, and encouraging me to be true to myself. I love you so much.

As I step into this next chapter of my personal journey 7,500 km across the Atlantic, I know I’ll miss the playlists, the laughter, and the daily energy of the salon. But what I’ll miss the most is all of you.

Thank you for making these past ten years the absolute best of my life.
