We’re growing—and looking for the right person to join our team.

This is not your average front desk role. We are a fast-paced, medical aesthetics clinic that values professionalism, attention to detail, and exceptional client experience.

The Role:
Part-time casual front desk support with potential to grow.

You are:
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Professional, polished, and reliable
• Confident managing multiple tasks at once
• Strong with communication and client care
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
• Self-motivated (you don’t need to be micromanaged)

Responsibilities include:
• Client check-in/check-out
• Booking + managing appointments (Vagaro experience is a bonus)
• Handling payments and maintaining accurate records
• Maintaining clinic cleanliness and presentation
• Supporting the team with day-to-day operations

This is for you if:
You take pride in your work, thrive in a high-end environment, and want to be part of a team that values excellence.

This is NOT for you if:
You need constant direction, struggle with accountability, or aren’t comfortable being held to a high standard.

Iskwewbeauty is 100% Indigenous owned and operated since 2016. Owner, Bobbi McKay, is a proud member of Minegoziibe Anishinabe, with roots in Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation, and has been providing nail and skin care services in the north for the past 13 years.

Iskwew Beauty’s journey has changed many times. Originally started as a home-based business but has now joined a team of beautiful professionals at one of Thompson’s first medi- spas. Iskwew Beauty is dedicated to continuing education, staying on top of trends but also committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment to everyone. Current services provided include gel polish manicures, gel and acrylic enhancements, pedicures, facial waxing, brow tints and henna, lash and brow lifts, lash extensions and makeup.

Group bookings on Brow Shaping, Makeup or Gel Mani’s are available for workshops or retreats.

With the current fire situation for Thompson and surrounding areas, I just wanted to share that in the event of any sort of evacuation from the city of Thompson (fingers crossed this does not happen) all appts will be cancelled. Please keep you and your families safe for the time being! Prayers for some rain in the North 🌧️

Council voted July 7 to declare a State of Local Emergency for the City of Thompson, effective today until Wednesday, August 6.

The state of emergency is being declared as a precautionary step to ensure the City is prepared for changing conditions. It gives the City the ability to take action, if necessary, to protect residents and property in the City of Thompson.
