My journey began with humble beginnings. I was raised in a home with clay walls and a dirt floor that had painted cheesecloth (10 layers) over the dirt.. I don’t know why my parents didn’t install wood & linoleum when we moved into that house in 1984. Despite (or because of - I don’t know) the simplicity of my surroundings I always felt that there is a big world out there with all kinds of chances and opportunities… My mom always emphasized the importance of education and self-development. As I grew, I embraced my mother's wisdom, devouring books and seeking every opportunity to broaden my knowledge. Determined to create a better life, I dreamed of financial stability that would allow me to support my parents and loved ones. I started my professional journey at 18 at an international consulting firm, where I initially found myself washing floors and making coffee for the corporate meetings. Though the work was far from glamorous, I approached each task with diligence and a burning desire to learn. My steadfast commitment did not go unnoticed, I quickly rose through the ranks, progressing to a receptionist, then to an administrator at the office to becoming a consultant in the firm's Management Consulting practice. Almost three decades later, I no longer have nightmares connected to the house I grew up in. Those nightmares hunted me until my early 30s.. The scary part was is that I return to my parents small farm and I see my mom and dad living in that old house with dirt floor… (continues in top comment ⬇️)
