✨ Just messing around with 3D gels and having a little fun with texture, dimension & design.

I used a dark forest green base with a yellow-shifting chrome, finished with a matte top coat and layered 3D gel details for that raised, sculptural effect. 💚✨

And yes — custom 3D designs are always an option when you get your sets done with me! We can keep it simple, go fully dimensional, or create something totally unique to you. 🖤

Sometimes the best sets happen when we just play around. 😉

A little time away ✨

I’ll be out of town and taking some time off August 22–30, and I’ll be back to work on September 1.

I’ll still have my phone and access to messages, but I won’t be checking them every day. Please don’t worry if you don’t hear back from me right away — I’ll get back to you as soon as I can and make sure everything is taken care of as efficiently as possible.

Sometimes the path we never planned becomes the one that leads us exactly where we’re meant to be.

Seven years ago, chronic illness changed the course of my life and forced me to leave the hairstyling career I thought would always be part of my story. It was devastating, but instead of letting that be the end of my journey, I chose to begin again. I took a leap of faith into the nail industry with nothing but passion, determination, and a dream. I poured my heart into learning, growing, and perfecting my craft.

Then came another leap of faith, perhaps the hardest one yet.

For the third time in my life, I chose to start over. I walked away from what was familiar to build something that truly reflected my heart, my values, and the experience I wanted every client to have. Building Golden Hour Esthetics from the ground up has been one of the most challenging and rewarding things I’ve ever done.

Only five months after opening Golden Hour Esthetics by Jenna Hull, you’ve voted me Favourite Esthetician and Favourite Nails & Pedicures in the Thunder Bay Chronicle Journal Readers’ Choice Awards.

While I’ve been incredibly fortunate to receive this recognition in previous years, this one holds a place in my heart unlike any other.

This is the first time I’ve received these awards entirely under my own business, in my own studio. It’s more than an award—it’s a reminder that every late night, every difficult decision, every setback, every moment of doubt, and every ounce of courage it took to keep going was worth it. It reminds me that sometimes the most beautiful things are built after finding the strength to begin again.

To every single person who has walked through my door, trusted me, recommended me, voted for me, and believed in me—even when I was still learning to believe in myself—thank you. Your support has meant more than I could ever find the words to express.

You are so much more than clients to me. You’ve become my Golden Hour family. The conversations, the laughter, the milestones we’ve celebrated together, and the trust you’ve placed in my hands are gifts I never take for granted. Every day, I feel incredibly lucky that I get to do what I love because of all of you.

I also want to thank my family and friends for encouraging me to take this leap and standing beside me through every high and low. Your belief in me gave me the confidence to believe in myself.

If my journey has taught me anything, it’s that our greatest obstacles don’t have to become our ending. Sometimes they become the very reason we discover our purpose. Dreams rarely come easily, but they are always worth fighting for.
