Kinsmen, Kinette and Kin clubs make up the country’s largest all-Canadian service group, run by active community volunteers. Members work together to serve the community’s greatest need by promoting service, fellowship, family values and national pride. They support Cystic Fibrosis research and fund local projects, like playgrounds and ice rinks, across the country.

2026 Hill City Kinsmen Annual Easter Egg Hunt
The Hill City Kinsmen are once again hosting the annual Kin Children’s Easter Egg Hunt, on Good Friday, April 3rd
at The Slovak Legion.
Event Details:
Date: Friday, April 3rd, 2026 (Good Friday)
Time: 11:00 am start (youngest children will go first)
Location: Slovak Legion- 801 Atlantic Avenue, Thunder Bay, ON.
Parents are invited to bring their children to the Slovak Legion parking Lot on Good Friday to hunt for plastic eggs with treats inside and a chance to win other prizes. Families are encouraged to arrive at the park before the start time, with an Easter basket to collect their eggs. There are four age categories. 3 and under, 4-5 year old, 6-7 year old, and 8 and over.

2025 Hill City Kinsmen Annual Easter Egg Hunt

There will be a special meet and greet with the Easter bunny at 12:00pm for any children with a disability, whether mobility, physical or cognitive, if they prefer a more quiet environment. There will be separate prizes and chocolate available. We cannot guarantee the crowd will have dissipated at that time, but will make an effort to have a more accessible area available.

Today the Thunder Bay Hill City Kinsmen and the Fort City Kinettes participated in National Day of KINdness at Darcy’s No Frills.
We hosted a food & monetary donation drive for Grace Place Thunder Bay and bagged groceries.
Thank you Thunder Bay for your continued support. We filled 4 pickup trucks with food and raised $600 in cash for Grace Place. We couldn’t do it without you!
