So excited to get back to work and see all your beautiful faces again! Here are a few changes being made to my business this fall:

Online Booking:

You may now book using my new website http://www.abbysbeautyboutique.com or click “book now” in bio. Credit cards are required to reserve your spot, this is not a method of payment.

Cancelation Policy: 24 hours is required to cancel/reschedule appointments. Failure to do so will result in a 50% fee of the service price to the credit card provided. If you do not show without any notice then your credit card will be charged for the full price of the service booked.

Payment Methods: I will be accepting cash, credit or debit only. HST will be added on top of service price for all forms of payment. I will no longer be accepting e-transfers.

Prices: The cost of doing nails is MUCH higher than before due to inflation and additional costs due to Covid. In order to continue providing premium nail and lash services my prices MUST increase. I am not an “in and out” nail tech, so I cannot charge like one! I always ensure your nails are shaped and polished to perfection which takes TIME and TALENT. New prices are effective immediately for new clients and effective December 1st for existing clients.

Hours of Operation: I am working Mon-Fri 9:30 am-9:30 pm (closing early on Thursdays) and will no longer be working weekends. Please understand that I have a life outside of work and refrain from texting me outside of these hours unless it is urgent. Allow 24-48 hours response time as I work with my hands for long periods of time.

I’ve refrained from posting my opinion for awhile but this is absolute bu****it.

ONTARIO..WTF? How can I go to Winners but I can’t do nails through a plexiglass with disinfected surfaces/tools, all clients screened and traced with all the PPE in place.... so unfair!!

Everyone who knows me knows I thrive on the hustle and my nail business is my entire life. And to not be able to do that for SO LONG now has completely shattered me and so many other local business owners that I know and love. I feel so bad knowing that there are so many others feeling the same way I do. To all my clients..I miss and love you all, I can’t wait to go back to our fun nail dates sipping on lattes without a mask or plexi between us☕️💕 that’s my favourite place to be and ONE DAY we will get back to that!

I will be contacting everyone individually to rebook once personal services are allowed to reopen

I am excited to announce that I will be returning to work as of September 2nd!

Due to COVID-19, the following changes are being made:

▪️Please cancel your appointment if you are feeling ill or you've been in contact with someone experiencing COVID-19 symptoms (I will waive the cancellation fee if adequate notice is given) and we will reschedule in 2 weeks
▪️All clients will be screened for symptoms upon arrival with a questionnaire and non-contact thermometer reading
▪️No outside food or drinks allowed in, unfortunately the refreshments won't be available at this time either (because your mask needs to stay ON)
▪️You must wear a mask AT ALL TIMES and it must fully cover your nose and mouth. If you don't have one, I can provide one for a small fee
▪️Come alone (no friends, children or pets) but say hi to them for me!
▪️No waiting area - please wait in your car until you receive a text to come in
▪️Please send nail art idea photos before your appointment as phone use will be limited - You will need to re-sanitize after each use
▪️I'll be doing minimal nail art for new set appointments - I need to ensure that I'll have enough time in between clients for proper sanitization of all surfaces
- unless we have planned for it in advance and have booked it accordingly
▪️Please use the sanitization station set up at the bottom of the stairs upon entering
▪️If you aren't ready to book yet or want to continue your break from gels, no worries just let me know when I contact you
▪️New files will be provided for each appointment - I can no longer reuse them
▪️Though my prices will remain the same, HST will no longer be included due to an increase in costs and extra time required for my business to operate safely

If you need any assistance with booking or can’t find the time you’d like, please message me and I will do my best to accommodate you!

If you are personally experiencing cold/flu symptoms or have been in contact with someone who does, please message me directly to reschedule your appointment. I will not be enforcing the the cancellation policy during this outbreak period but would very much appreciate as much notice as possible when cancelling. If you have travelled recently, please contact me to postpone your appointment until 14 days have passed - this is a health unit requirement. Nail art options may be limited in the next two weeks to ensure I have extra time in between clients to disinfect railings, doorknobs, sink faucets etc. If you have a compromised immune system please contact me to reschedule your appointment. If you do come to your appointment sick I will have to ask you to leave and we can reschedule when you are 100% recovered. Please don’t put me in a position to do that..just cancel! There is also a possibility I will need to close but if we all do our part to stop the spread then hopefully I won’t have to! Please wash your hands prior to your appointment and use the sanitizer I’ve provided before entering the nail room. Thanks for understanding that I must put the health of my clients & family first❤️
