This time of year is so harsh on our skin, and many think that their skin is just ‘dry’, and for the the most part, when you come in for you facial and I assess your skin I find it is just dehydrated!

💧 Dehydrated skin- lacks water, and is a skin condition. Your skin appears dull, and feels tight. Also, those with oily skin will get dehydrated skin as well, it’s not just for certain skin types!

💧 Dry skin- lacks oil and is a skin type. Your skin appears irritated by redness, the texture is rough and flaky, and sometimes feels itchy.

The first step to your skin care routine is your cleanser, to remove dead skin cells, makeup, dirt and oil build up. This preps your skin for the use of active and nutrient rich ingredients!💧

Remember to use the 2 step cleansing method at night (if you’ve worn makeup that day) to insure all makeup is removed. Start with a creamy cleanser like the Mega Cream Cleanser or the Vitamin C Cleanser to throughly cleanse all makeup, oil and debris from the face - do this for about 30 seconds ⏰
Then use a gel or foam based cleanser (cleans for another 30 seconds ⏰), that contains more active ingredients to further cleanse your skin and lower skins pH so that it is ready for your next step- serums.
