As many of you already know, it is with immense sadness that we share the heartbreaking news of the passing of Tuan.

Tuan was so much more than a barber. He was a loving father, devoted son, a beloved fiancé, cherished brother , a caring cousin, a friend, a great listener, and a pillar of the Tillsonburg community. His chair was a place where people came not only for a haircut, but for laughter, conversation, advice, and genuine connection. He had a way of making everyone feel welcomed and valued, always ensuring his clients left feeling their best. He had a special gift for making kids feel comfortable, turning what could be a nervous experience into one they looked forward to.

His kind heart, generosity, and incredible talent left a lasting mark on our community. The lives he touched and the memories he created will never be forgotten.

We are deeply grateful for the love and support that has already been shown during this incredibly difficult time. Please keep his family, friends, and everyone whose life he touched in your thoughts as we navigate this unimaginable loss.

As we begin planning his visitation and funeral, we would love to celebrate Tuan's life through the memories he shared with so many. Hi everyone,

This summer, Tai and I are heading to Guatemala for our first mission trip! (With Global Shore)

We’ll be spending 10 days in the mountains serving at Avivando El Fuego Christian School, helping with hands-on projects like painting and building cupboards and doors, as well as spending time in classrooms assisting with English. I’ll also be bringing my tools to give haircuts if I get the chance!

The funds raised will go toward our meals, accommodations, and travel. A portion will also go directly to the school to support teachers, supplies, and operations. Each of us will also get to deliver a large hamper of food and household supplies to a family in need.

Donations over $20 will receive a charitable tax receipt. You can e-transfer to [email protected] (please include our names in the comment section), and I’ll also have a jar at the shop for cash donations.

SHOP UPDATE:

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share a quick update as things are changing.

Our walk-in barber, Charnele, will be going on maternity leave after March break. Because of this, we will be moving back to appointments only while we actively look for a replacement barber.

Over the last few years I’ve been working long hours to stay open late (9PM+ Monday-Thursday). Moving forward, I’ll be finishing earlier so I can focus more on my personal life and creating a better work-life balance.

I truly appreciate all of my clients and to accommodate as many people as possible, I will still be keeping one late night each week and will be starting earlier on Thursdays to add some extra availability.
