Today, I thought I would talk to you about tattoo removal. It's not very common to most of you so here's my schpeel about the method I do.
It's called "ELIMININK". Just as the name describes it, it eliminates the ink in your body. The procedure is the exact same application as when you had the tattoo using the same machine as well. (I invested in a computerized machine but also have the coiled machine as the tattoo artists use) Therefore, if the tattoo didn't hurt, neither will this.
Furthermore, I use a topical anesthetic that helps numb the area. It is a time consuming treatment as we cannot eliminate the entire area in one sitting plus the area must be healed before we can do another treatment. The aftercare is extremely important in the healing process of the tattoo. Check my website for before and after pics. Its kind of gross!!! but I have seen good results :)

I'm having a problem with my business fb page. I found 6 messages from June this year that I never saw until yesterday!!! My question is why can't I see them on my new computer AND why do I see them only on occasion on my old computer. I can't even return the messages arghhhhh

The final blog about laser.
The client arrives with a shaven area that is to be treated. (remember, laser is always looking for black therefore, the hair must be shaved so the laser enters the hair follicle). I always work with ice packs to freeze the area. Once the skin is cold, the laser is used. A perfect treatment will give you signs of a working laser. The signs are the smell of the burning hairs, sometimes you hear a "pouf" which indicates a really good burning hair, then when the freezing thaws it really feels hot. So, you re-apply the ice and continue until its done. Treatments are not usually long, depending on the area treated.
After the treatment, I always ask that you wear sunscreen for the following week. You know, you should be using sunscreen daily along with your moisturizer creams ect.....As I'm sure you all do!!!
Treatments are once a month for quick and effective treaments.

Yes, laser hair removal.
When you have your first visit with a laser technician, this is what she looks for, for the perfect treatment.
She is looking at the skin color and also the hair color of the area to be treated. FYI, red, blond and white hairs are not laser friendly!!!
The laser is always looking for dark/brown/black hairs.
Usually, the darker the hair, the better the treatment.
The skin color is important to laser treatments. You cannot use tanning lotions before a treatment nor if your skin in freshly tanned. Most women prefer doing their laser in the winter months for many reasons. 1-it is very important to use a sunblock after laser.(the laser is still working for a good week after the treatment) Therefore, there isn't much sun in the winter months!!
2-For any treatments, always give yourself 6-12 months for it to be effective. 3- Who shaves in the winter???? :)

Electrolysis
This is a hair removal treatment for any types or color of hairs.
A filament (everyone calls it a needle because it looks like a mini needle and it is added at the end of a probe.....resembling a needle), yes, a filament because it is very flexible, unlike a needle, is inserted into every individual hair follicle. Heat is distributed to the area to eliminate the root and blood supply to that individual hair.
This is a tedious, time consuming and very effective hair removal treatment however, at a turtle pace!!! It is affordable, usually charged $1 per minute.
So, there you have it folks. Everything you need to know about electrolysis :)

Here's one frustrated esthetician who doesnt' understand why I can't see/view my own blog!!! What is it with me!!!!!
You probably received 2 blogs earlier today, well I re=wrote the 2nd blog thinking it was lost......but I've been getting responses of those blogs and I can't see anything anywhere except in my notifications :( Does this make any sense or is it the blog/gawds giving ME a message!!!
