What is IASTM??

Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization is a skilled technique using bevelled metal instruments against your skin.

These specialized tools are used to manipulate the skin, myofascia, muscles, and tendons by various direct compressive strokes.

IASTM is indicated for chronic fascial restrictions, promoting healthy remodeling of scar tissue and in turn restoring function to areas of immobilization.

IASTM is within the scope of practice for RMT’s who are trained. Ask if IASTM is right to be included in your treatment in your next visit with Morgan.
