August 26th is Women’s Equality Day, a day that calls to attention the 19th Amendment that secured voting rights for ✨all✨ regardless of gender in the US.

According to CCFWE.org, economic abuse and financial inequality are key barriers to people leaving abusive relationships.

Economic Abuse has a direct impact on a person’s future including housing security as well as their ability to rebuild economic security and emotional well-being.

Without access to financial resources and financial education, they are unable to plan or even imagine leaving an abusive relationship.
