After 6 years, I’m finally ready to close this chapter in my book.

Never did I expect to make it this far in my journey, and I’m so grateful for all the doors it has opened for me.

I’ve learned so many things through being a nail tech that I didn’t expect.

Meeting new people everyday and really getting to know them by the end of a 2 hour session is not something many people get to experience.

But the most important take away from this was learning how to trust and believe in myself. I got to know myself at my lowest and push myself when I didn’t think I could keep on going.

Being a nail tech has helped shape me to be more understanding, patient, compassionate and kind. It gave me a strong sense of community that will always be a huge part of me.

I have never forgotten any of my clients even those who I only met once, and I will never forget you.

You’ve been there for me to celebrate life with, and you’ve been there as a shoulder to cry on in my lowest moments.

I am the most grateful for the beautiful people who trusted in me and my craft, your support will always mean the most to me.

I am eternally thankful for each and every one of you. Thank you🫶🏻

As every chapter comes to an end, a new one begins. This is most definitely not goodbye, it’s the start of something new and I can’t wait to show you :)

Let’s talk about the advice that slows you down:

📌 Follow for more nail biz tips + how to grow online and attract aligned clients through social media 🩷

After 6 years in the industry, I’ve heard a lot of advice — and not all of it helped me. From saying yes to every design, to undercharging just to get booked, I learned that certain “popular tips” can actually keep you stuck.

This post breaks down the kind of advice I wish I had ignored when I was starting out. Because getting clients isn’t just about working harder — it’s about working smarter, building a brand, and knowing your worth.

If you’re trying to grow your nail business without burning out or playing the low-price game… I teach all of that in my digital course, created for nail techs who want to show up online with confidence and attract dream clients.

What advice have you heard that didn’t help you grow? Let’s talk in the comments.
