Period Skincare During the Phases of Your Cycle ✨

DO make sure you understand the treatment you are undergoing and the relevant risks involved
DO keep antivirals on hand and take them as a preventative measure if you experience cold sores.
DO inform your injector about any medications you take, including supplements, whether you do so frequently or infrequently.
DO remain hydrated. In general, staying hydrated is beneficial to your health, and your fillers will also benefit from it.
If you are prone to bruising, DO take an arnica supplement before to treatment. It helps lessen bruising and promotes better blood circulation.

DO NOT wear makeup to your appointment
If you are expecting or nursing, DO NOT/avoid getting dermal fillers. Waiting until breastfeeding is over is a good idea.
A few days before your treatment, DO NOT use any over-the-counter blood thinners, including ibuprofen, aleve, aspirin, and other painkillers. Always speak with your injector if you are unsure which medications are safe to take.
A week before to the visit, DO NOT take any herbal supplements, including St. John's Wort.
24-48 hours before receiving dermal fillers, DO NOT consume alcohol. They raise your risk of bleeding.
DO NOT engage in vigorous exercise the day before/ day of your injectable treatment.
